
Charlotte Cottrell is a practicing Intimacy Coordinator in training and Production Assistant based in Naarm/Melbourne, currently under the mentorship of Steph Power. She has received online education from Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC), and has been trained in consent and boundaries, facilitating intimacy in performance and trauma-informed breathwork from leading practitioners from the likes of Venn and Force Majeure
Charlotte's approach to working with intimate content is communicative and open, she establishes a clear framework for the content to be performed within, unique to the needs of the actor/s and director. She has facilitated the simulation of intimate scenes across a range of topics including domestic violence, birth and labour, physical touch and sexual activity in independent productions for both stage and screen.
